Ivy Dell McAdams is grieving the loss of her grandmother. Gran was her favorite person in the world. And Gran's favorite place was a fabled, mystical west Texas town called Ivydell. She loved the place so much, she convinced Ivy's mother to name her after it.

Gran's stories always sounded like fairytales, but Ivy's restless and sad, a terrible combination. What better way to shake up her life than to take a little hiatus to middle-of-nowhere Ivydell?

The way Gran described the place, Ivy half expects to find Stars Hollow meets 1980s Marfa meets Lily Dale, NY. It turns out her farcical guess is not far off . . .

But more goes on in Ivydell than Ivy Dell could've imagined. It's truly got that magical quality that Gran waxed poetic about all those years.
